Who we are
Dashcam Cork is run by Alan Rowell, Cork, Ireland. Alan is responsible for your personal data. For anything about your data, email alan@happyout.io.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, area, the package you picked, and, if you choose to give them, your car's make, model and year, your dash cam model and any message.
The site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no popups. The spam check on the form processes technical details such as your IP address to tell people from bots.
Why we use it
To ring you back, give you a price and arrange the fitting you asked about. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract. We do not use your details for marketing and we never sell or share them.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the form's spam check.
- Resend delivers your enquiry to us by email and keeps a copy for 30 days.
- Google provides the email inbox your enquiry arrives in.
- Happy Out, which built and maintains this website, can see enquiry delivery records to keep the form working.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards they offer under GDPR.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a job, we delete it within 12 months. If we fit a dash cam for you, we keep the details needed for our records for as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email alan@happyout.io and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
