Parking mode is the feature most people pay for and never get working. A dash cam plugged into the cigarette lighter switches off with the engine, so it cannot record a car park bump. Hardwiring it to the fuse box is what makes parking mode work.

How parking mode works
The hardwire kit connects to two fuses: one that is always live and one that only comes on with the ignition. The camera uses the switch between them to know the car is parked, then records when it feels an impact or sees movement.
Will it drain my battery?
No. The hardwire kit has a low-voltage cut-off. When the battery drops to a set level the camera shuts down, leaving plenty to start the car. We set the cut-off to suit your car and how long it sits parked.
Already have a camera plugged in?
We can convert it. If your camera supports parking mode, we fit its hardwire kit, hide the cable and set the parking mode up in the app with you.
